The post is Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Coordinator and you’ll be in the Programmes department. It is a fixed term post at 3 days a week (which days can be negotiated).
Plan UK is leading a large water sanitation and hygiene (WASH) consortium consisting of private and NGO partners, which will deliver a multifaceted programme aiming to improve sanitation and promote hygiene in poor rural communities in South Asia.
We are seeking an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Coordinator to ensure existing M&E systems of consortium members are effectively harmonized and strengthened to meet donor requirements. You would also be responsible for ensuring that learning from the project is properly documented and shared.
The successful candidate will have experience of implementing and ensuring the ongoing development of monitoring, evaluation and learning frameworks for large and complex projects. Specific experience in the WASH sector would be advantageous, as would experience in results-based programming. You will have exceptional quantitative and qualitative data processing and analysis skills and be able to engage effectively with dedicated consortium M&E partners. Knowledge and management of statistical software packages such as SPSS, Stata and/ or CSPRO is highly desirable.
The usual recruitment rate for this post (Grade 3) is £35,224 with future pay progression within the pay band from £35,224 to £37,078 pro rata.
It’s a fixed term contract until April 2018, and it’s a part-time post at 21 hours a week.
